JULIAN GALLAGHER

Julian began his career in financial services in 2008, at HBOS, working within General Insurance. Since then, he has built up a wealth of experience in the International banking sector. He has held positions with Banco Halifax Hispania, and Lloyds International acting as a mortgage and personal banking consultant. These roles entailed presenting and arranging personal mortgages for property purchases across Europe, Dubai, USA, Hong Kong, the Caribbean Islands and UK.

His career then moved into business development with Lloyds International Private Banking here in Spain, specialising in the provision of bespoke banking and finance solutions to high net worth individuals living in Europe.

During his time in banking, Julian gained the qualifications CII R01 Financial Regulation and Ethics, and CF6 Mortgage Advice.

He is a fully qualified UK mortgage advisor as well as being fully qualified as a mortgage advisor in Spain by way of the compulsory IDD(ICI) qualification.

He also received independent awards for excellence in customer service from the CSA (Customer Service Authority).

Before joining Fluent Finance Abroad Julian ran a regulated financial services company based in Gibraltar and a shared Family office focused on Superyacht owners and their crews. The company provided services to over 300 Superyachts and 2000 crew.  The business went on to provide onshore support for the vessels as a yacht agent. He sold his shares in the business in 2017. Julian then began the transition to join FFA, a move that provided the perfect platform for Julian to continue to help expatriates looking for help in finding the most appropriate form of finance to purchase their dream home in Spain.
